I found this viewpoint after hiking up a hill trying to find a better vantage point for Yosemite Falls. Once I cleared the treeline I had this amazing view of half dome nestled between two bookends of sheer granite. At first I was underwhelmed by the composition as a photo, but eventually grew to enjoy its simplicity and the calm nature of it. I hope you do as well!
